About Vegas Rugby Tour
In January 2005 I came to Las Vegas for the first time. I was bright
eyed, bushy tailed and eager for some life experience. Prior to that I had been
slogging it out in the All Ireland League. That was ok but I was hungry for something
new and exciting. After a little soul searching I talked to some people about playing
rugby in Japan. That was my original plan until my brother told me he had an old
friend who played for a team in Las Vegas - The
Las Vegas Blackjacks. I was sold! Even the name sounded right. I played
the 2005 and 2006 seasons and had enough fun to satisfy most people for a lifetime.
The rugby was surprisingly good too.
I returned for the 2009 season finishing 2nd in the country. The idea for vegasrugbytour.com
was a natural progression. I wanted to share what Las Vegas has to offer. Pretty
soon, I got a call from The British and Irish Lions who were playing in South Africa.
They wanted to spend 5days here and for me to recommend the best spots to party.
Using my friends and rugby contacts I was able to put together an awesome itinerary.
I realized this was a place all rugby players should experience.
So consider this an invitation for everyone to experience Las Vegas. Whether you
want to play hard rugby or just party hard we can arrange the right amount for you.
